Band to Join, Bass Guitar, Drums.

GUITARIST INTERESTED IN STARTING NEW 3-PIECE BAND. Settling into a new house with plenty of studio/rehearsal space. I own a guitar shop and build/modify audio equipment. I really just want a rhythm section for a more instrumental type of arrangement. I am not all that crazy about the whole "jam band" or "space jam" thing, I prefer a more structured set with room to experiment.

I like to play heavier sounding stuff, and prefer more challenging technical material but really whatever comes out and sounds killer, I'll take it. I would like to rehearse a few nights a week, and eventually start playing shows. I have means to record demos/records in my home, so once we get a really solid deal running, we can maybe get a little more serious, bills permitting.

I've played in a band (and sometimes still do), The Maladjustments since 1998, and just recorded a lot of stuff over the years. Check The Maladjustments out on Music, and some other stuff: s:///dduac

and then my page I started not long ago to advertise some stuff I build, I'm still uploading projects, jobs, and builds, just look me up on there: Atomic Decay Sound.

I also do soundtrack work and ambient/drone tracks. So if there are any bands that need to round out some tracks, or just want to experiment, I would love to get together with you. I am very respectful of studio time and do not force my opinions on projects, especially when I'm not a band member and I'm not the one paying for it.

And if you're just looking for a "gun for hire", I don't mind sitting in, or just lending tracks for archival purposes. I don't exactly submerge myself in the Top 40, but have enough musicianship to be open minded if any vocalists are just looking for someone to help arrange songs or even record demos for an audition tape or concept work for an existing band.

email me at atomicdecaysound (at) g mail dotcom if you are interested in getting together.

Between my personal collection and my shop, WAY too much to list. I guess the best thing to say is I don't use "bargain equipment". In fact, when I die, they will probably just seal my carcass up in my workshop and forget about the whole mess.
