I am trying to join or form a hard rock / classic rock cover band in Maui or get involved in an original recording project with members on island. I work full time and would prefer to only rehearse weekly on Sundays, and leave open Fri/Sat nights for gigs. I can do my homework and learn songs quickly and practice at home as needed. I have recently moved to Maui from Oahu. For the past 3-4 years I played bass in a video game rock band in Oahu. I also joined an 80s cover band in Oahu as the lead guitarist for several months before finding out I had to move to Maui. I was a military musician for 6 years and was in an original progressive rock band before that. I would prefer to join a working rock cover band, but am experienced and open to other genres as well including reggae, blues, and jazz. I am a lead guitarist but can play rhythm and bass proficiently. I can play ukulele and keyboard at a lower level. I am proficient at Cubase 11 Pro and enjoy recording, livestreaming, and video editing. I can sight read charts.
