ABOUT

Self taught, play both acoustic and electric guitar and have my own equipment. I started off in 2000 learning and playing punk rock and pop/punk like blink-182 and NFG. I literally couldnt put the guitar down until I could play a song note for note so yes, i have deep calluses and scars from bleeding fingers. I've written my own music through the years and also lyrics. I do sing and people say I should do more of it but I don't feel it's my strong point so i mostly stick to playing guitar. I hate my voice. However, I don't get stage fright so I'm not afraid to sing or play in front or people when I've had to. I'm also a finger style acoustic guitar player and id like to say its more of my passion since i discovered the style of playing back in 2008. That being said I've got experience in various altered tunings. If you've ever heard of Andy Mckee, that's kinda what I mean. I'm just not nearly as good as him lol. I learned how to read music many years ago but I forgot. I try to learn new things every day but to me, learning how to read music notes feels more like being back in high-school and takes all the fun out of it for me so I play by ear mostly. I can read tabs though. If I can hear it, I can play it and it wont take me long to be able to jump in and play along with you. I do understand some music theory and i know a few of the major and minor scales so once i find your root note, i do know how to play lead alongside. I can play in multiple tunings all the way from standard, Drop D to DADGAD and more. Mostly I like to play and have fun while doing it.. I've been in alot of bands growing up and I know being in a band that plays shows requires commitment and long hours of practice. I have no issue with that but if you take it so seriously to the point where you act like we're the opening band for Metallica and don't know how to have fun with it as well, I don't want anything to do with it. I believe some of your sloppyest songs can be the ones people relate to the most and perfection is not always the key. Fame would be nice but I could care less. Anything else you want to know, just ask. I would love to be in a praise and worship band/group that either covers Christian music or writes its own. I strongly believe our gifts and talents have been gifted to us from Christ and it's soul purpose is to be used to bring His name glory. But I'm always down to find someone to jam with, record and collaborate with whether is acoustic or finger style collaboration.sincw it seems this platform requires access to your pockets in order to message or contact, you can track me down on ????????. Btw, no.... I'm not a Metallica fan. Talented musicians but not my cup of coffee.
