I'm currently looking to start a folk metal band. If you are unsure of what that is and are interested, please look some of my influences up and get back to me. I have played flute for around 9 years and am in the process of learning guitar. I can sing background. A lot of the type of music I go for is influenced heavily by paganism and various myths and lore from many different cultures. Very earthy, fun music. I am in the hopes that maybe just MAYBE there's another folk metal enthusiast around here somewhere. I have played in my high school band very seriously and outside such band with the influence of folk metal in mind.
