Singer looking for a band to play with. Any genre really, but specifically alternative rock. Soprano range, can read sheet music. Time available is limited, since I am still a high school student, but I am looking to be more serious about my music. I've been in choir at school for 4 years, starting my 5th soon. I sang at home before that for several years though. Basically I've been singing off and on since I was in church choir when I was 4 or 5. I've always loved singing; it's my passion, and I hope to possibly pursue it as a career one day.

Influences
A little bit of everything. I've sung everything from Evanescence to Sara Bareilles to Pat Benatar. I've also sung Duffy, Paramore, Flyleaf, Hey Monday, Sixpence None the Richer and Taylor Swift. Also in musical production Little Shop of Horrors at the Henderson Civic Theater this fall. I can sing almost anything you throw at me! (:
EQUIPMENT
Does a karaoke machine count?? haha. My voice, of course. I have a couple of mics, but they're not very good quality. Idr the brand names on them. Don't have an amp, either. Man, I'm underequipped!! :(
