Background in classical/choral small ensemble and a cappella singing, but have transitioned to contemporary/alternative (where my heart is). I still love harmonizing and collaborating and jamming and am as thrilled to sing backup as lead vocals so long as I am doing that.

I trained in the classical style first, so although I love a good scream, I also like a difficult vocal line and I enjoy sounding pretty. I've been influenced by Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, Sara Bareillis, Nina Persson (The Cardigans), Paula Cole, Joni Mitchell, The Breeders, Hayley Williams (Paramour), Poe, Beth Gibbons (Portishead), Tracy Bonham, Veruca Salt, Dolores O'Riorden (The Cranberries)...
