I'm in my fifties, so my influences span a decent amount of time. I really enjoy singing the blues and 30's style jazz, but modern jazz leaves me cold. I spent a lot of time with classic rock, but really enjoyed alt as well. I also like Bluegrass, and have a tendency to write in a Folk style.

Influences
so many...all of the late 60's to early-to-mid 70's music scene, for sure. Janis Joplin, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, etc. The Police, Genesis, U2's early days, Pearl Jam, Lorenna Mckennit, Alison Krauss, Patsy Cline, I tend to stay away from pop and disco, and appreciate more textured music. The Beatles (natch!)
