SEEKING
Band to Join, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar.ABOUT
Looking to join a group playing blues, classic rock, country rock, southern rock, or any combination of those genres. Or would like to reform my group MGB with a guitar and bass to play the above genres.
Have been playing drums and singing for several decades and have lots of experience gigging. Have played in backup bands for Dale Hawkins, Berlin, and Faron Young. Grew up playing Zep, Hendrix, Cream, Yardbirds, and other classic bands.
Have played recently with the group "Proof 102" and before that with my blues group, MGB. MGB was the blues from the perspective of the rock remakes of the originals, i.e. Yardbirds, Zep, ZZ Top, and others with a rock edge. Have lots of experience with promoting - including band photos, ads and flyers, demo cd's - and seeking gigs and have some contacts with clubs/bars. View the sample set list in photos.
