Band to Join, Keyboard, Drums, Bass Guitar, Lead Guitar.ABOUT
I've been singing most of my life and drumming since I was 14. I was in school choir for nine years, and learned how to read music and was trained in traditional vocal techniques during that time. I have no formal drum training.
I played drums in a Christian praise & worship band every Sunday from age 14 to age 20. I co-founded rock/metal band "Dahaka" at age 19 and was their drummer until I was 24. They moved me to vocals for the final year the band was together before going on hiatus. I played drums for a punk/alternative band called "Laundry at Midnight" for about 3 months before we broke up.
I have very eclectic music tastes and am looking for a band that is primarily rock or metal but not afraid to step outside of genre stereotypes. I prefer bands that just have guitarists, instead of bands that stick their guitarists into lead and rhythm roles. Also, I love when a band really takes advantage of their bassist. There is so much a bass can add to a song beyond that underlying rhythm.
