ABOUT

Hey we are looking for musicians like you if you are truly committed and talented. Between drama and people flaking out on us we had to cancel one gig already. So if you who you say you are and do what you say you can do…we are interested in you! Call me or email me 518-683-6359 or cristinaleecaim. Check out our website ./thebadsituationband and let me know what you think but remember we are still working on the site so be kind. Eventually when everyone gets there pics to me I’ll be making a photo album for each permanent member of the band. You must be available to practice Wed. and Thurs. after 6pm and be able to play on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights until 4am.--Doc

This is about us:
Bad Situation is the area’s newest and sure to be one of its most popular bands. We believe in professionalism and you are likely to see our name everywhere—so much so you may get sick of hearing about us. Be that as it may, you will not be bored to tears by hearing the music that every other band seems to be stuck playing. We adapt our repertoire to specifically target the type of venue you wish to draw and/or be apart of. We are ALWAYS learning and growing as a band. We will eventually publish our own material as well as the covers desired by the public. While we still cover some of the classic female artists from the 80’s and 90’s, we have adapted our music to have a more “updated feel”. We truly believe that much like life if you stop learning you stop growing. The artists that influence us the most are those we usually cover which include but are not limited to artists like No Doubt, Hole, Alanis Morissette, Quarterflash, Pink, Republica, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Ani DiFranco, etc. We completely understand that these artists are what the public is demanding now. Because of that fact, we draw fans as far away as NY City for the opportunity to here us play those artists listed in the unique manner that we are known for. To achieve this unique sound, we have additional support staff that we fondly refer to as “band aids” that do a variety of tasks from tightening up our acoustic sound to vocal instruction and breathing to even stage presence so that we may put on a great show and it works! We have our own bodyguards and sound engineers for these performances as well. We are redefining the standards of what a professional band should be in this area and so far the response is overwhelming. We, the band, would like to send each of you who visit and read this page an invitation to see us play when we are booked in your area (and even if we are farther away we would still encourage you to come—it is definitely worth the gas money—but no pressure). There is never a cover charge to see us. We are reasonably priced so that anyone can afford us for parties, clubs, taverns, etc. It is really up to you the owner on how packed you want your place to be. It is time we got back to what is important to our fans as well as to us and that is simply…the music!!!! So come and see us; it will be fun!!! –Cristina (Doc) Collier, Lead Vocals
