Hot chicks, hangin out, playin dice, runnin from the cops, calling the cops, goin to Berlin, leaving France, staying up till 8 am with the girlfriend, sifting through vinyl, really hot chicks, smoking cigarettes, stoges, butts, squares, keepin it together until you can blow it, Johnnie Johnson, walkin with the grandpa, listening to records, listening to weird bootlegs of bands whose entire catalog you already own, only sort of cleaning your room, turning it up, slapback delay, analog everything (unless it sucks), Gram Parsons, really smokin hot girls, perfect legs, Billy Gibbons, playing slide guitar with a lighter, fu*king instead of sleeping, making out instead of fu*king, fu*king without making out, the pentatonic scale over and over again, changing guitar strings as they break instead of all at once like you're "supposed to", having a dude hand you a different guitar onstage, Keith Richards, wearing huge sunglasses, girls with cool names, tanlines from thong-back bikinis like in the eighties, going record shopping, getting a new guitar once every five years, Chuck Berry, getting a new guitar once a month, having all the guitars, tube amps that sound super slammin unlike every solid state ever (except for those Sunn Concert Leads, I played one of those for awhile, sounded slammin), Eddie Clarke, somehow getting a ticket to the sold out show at the last minute, successfully evading transit police when you sneaked onto the bus, being a smartass when your band is the only thing you're truly living for and it's all that you care about and desperately want to do the best you can at it which includes writing all this kind of bullsh*t... :)
