Bakalao Stars’ sound is a mixture of influences and genres that range from reggae to Latin ska and punk rock. Bakalao fuses these rhythms to create catchy melodies, which are performed with the highest level of energy and enthusiasm. Over the years, Bakalao Stars has become Charlotte’s most popular Latin band due to their unique style, and their energetic shows.
Since 2002, when Bakalao Stars effervescent journey started, the band has released three albums Peguele al Trifasico Con Azpero Sumbein (2007), Soundcocho (2011), and Afrodijiak (2014). Bakalao is planning to release its fourth album in the present year (2017). With styling sounds capable of hypnotizing audiences filtered through good vibes and punk attitude, Bakalao Stars' music spreads ecstasy and invites everyone to groove to the universal language of music
