Band of Imposters is building a tribute "super-group", dedicated to live performances that faithfully reproduce the sound and general experience of the original artists. Each set is like a mini-concert, with the biggest hits of the featured popular mainstream rock act.
Our primary targets are larger, upsacale venues such as local concerts, casinos, fairs and festivals, playing sets of between 45 to 90 minutes of material from each featured artist.
The general category is rock, including any of its many derivatives. Any popular mainstream rock artist is fair game, as long as they have enough hit material to fill at least one set.
We are currently seeking lead vocalists that can sound amazingly like one or more popular singers, and command the stage in keeping with the original artist for that portion of the show. Each vocalist shifts to a supporting role for sets that feature other vocalists, so everyone must also be able to play an instrument and sing backup at a professional level.
