Band to Join.ABOUT
Most rock bands need someone to grind out the power chords, thump out the bass line and play that familiar synth riff while the lead guitarist or vocalist takes the spotlight. I'm that guy.
I'm by no means an accomplished rhythm guitar / bass / synthesizer player, but I can generally play the necessary parts. I don't need to stand out. I just enjoy doing my part and making the band sound good, feeding off of and building the energy in the crowd.
I've played several gigs / open mics with bands/friends (from teens to 60s) and those all went really well. I'd like to play more frequently, probably as a part of a new/classic alternative rock cover band, then maybe working on originals, if there's interest.
I'm hard working and reliable. I show up on time and I know my parts. I'm agreeable. I have some flexibility in my schedule.
(No, I'm not 99 years old. But, I look good for 99, don't I? Why does this website require your birthdate? Music transcends time/age!)
I'm always learning new songs. But, as of right now...
