We are a new band. We have only been together for about a year. We don’t fall into a specific category or genre. Some of us have played in numerous bands before this, and we formed this band to get away from the confinement of a specific genre. We wanted to start a band that was unique, with it’s own sound, but with the courage to play all types of music, (from country and rock to folk and blues.) The majority of our songs have a rock or blues/rock flare to them, with a heavy rhythm guitar foundation. Our lead guitarist plays a lot of blues-style lead and includes slideguitar
techniques into many of our songs. We incorporate a heavy bass line and focus a lot on vocals.
About half of our songs are covers, but we infuse our own style into the songs which changes them dramatically from their original format. Many of our covers are also older songs that most people don’t recognize.
The other half of our songs are originals, most of which we have written together as a band.
We usually practice once a week on Tuesday evenings, although this changes depending on the schedule of the individual band members.
