I play a very wide variety of musical styles as indicated by my influences including a few originals and am looking for like-minded musicians. I will try almost anything on the 5-string banjo to see if it will work. I love playing my Tom Ellis banjo, my Collings D-1 flatop guitar, my Godin archtop and, I really like working up vocal harmonies and arranging. I have been in many bands over the years in Austin, Wimberley and Galveston. I would like to play more regularly with other people either in a band or not.

Influences
bluegrass, western swing, vintage jazz (20s, 30s,40s), Americana (Grateful Dead, Doors, The Band, Pure Prairie League, John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Doc Watson...) Will try almost anything if its a good song, to see if it works with whoever I'm playing with.

EQUIPMENT
I only have a Shure SM-57 mic, a studio mic, a couple of mic stands and
a small practice amp. My primary instruments are a custom 5- string banjo crafted by Tom Ellis in Austin, a Collings D-1 flatop acoustic guitar and a Godin archtop.
