ABOUT

I've been playing the 5-string banjo since 2005; I am self taught. I play the Scruggs 3-fingered style (main one) and also the old-style of "clawhammer". I began learning the tenor banjo for Irish traditional music; the four and five stringed banjos have two very different sounds. I am willing to sit-in for any of your banjo needs (recordings, gigs, projects, etc), or, if things go well on both ends, we can do more regular gigs. If this interests you, please let me know by emailing me at alpierce2010 (at) {Y_a_H_o_O} (dot) { C_o_M}.
