ABOUT

In and out of bands for about 30 years now, mostly in the east Tennessee area, including quite a few jam bands. Bluegrass and waaaaay beyond. Recently moved back to upstate SC where I grew up. Not primarily a bluegrass musician. Can pretty much hang with whatever is going on, I understand when not to play, important for a banjo picker LOL.

For many years I put gigging aside while I owned and operated the niche website finecases, which I also conceived, designed and coded. That was more than a full time effort and I sold that project in early 2009 to return to music.

CALENDAR

Past Events

Featured band for the evening, Wes Wyatt on guitar, and Frank Eastes on banjo (of the Bluegrass Messengers) will be joined by local phenom Brandon Turner on bass for a completely impromptu set of acoustic music. No telling what we'll play that evening. Come on by, enjoy fine acoustic music and pizza. Yum.

Fayssoux Starling McLean and the Bluegrass Messengers play for the first time at the very popular eatery/pub Cribb's Kitchen on Main St in Spartanburg. We play from 8-11!

Fayssoux McLean performs with the Bluegrass Messengers: Wes Wyatt-guitar/vocals; Frank Eastes-banjo/vocals; Steve Garrett-bass/vocals at the historic feed warehouse converted to a great music venue, with stage and dance floor. Family oriented -no drinking, no smoking, with snacks for sale. Clogging teams have been known to appear! No cover, but donations are appreciated! Fletcher, NC
