ABOUT

By age 2, I was singing! Never stopped.

I enjoy jamming and working with other musicians. Jam a couple times a month and attend several open mic sessions. I like to sing out in public once a week or more. I sing at parties and I practice voice daily. I sing a 4-hour long gig at the Farmer's Market at least once annually.

SCHEDULED TO SING AT MAKU'U MARKET - Sunday OCTOBER 20th 9-1.

2019 - sang last 6-months in New Orleans, my birthplace.

Sang with guitarist Firmin Oliveira at Le Magic Pan restaurant in Hilo, Hawaii for 10 months until they closed the restaurant end of 2018. Sang at Hilo’s Black & White Night November 2018.

Hosted a large party 1994 for a small town and, as a singer and guitarist, formed a band, “Abita and the Antiques” in Abita Springs, Louisiana.

Sang in the Lafayette Louisiana Chapter of the Sweet Adelines under the direction of Gwen Bruton, as a clarion lead, stood in center front position for over a decade in the 1970s-1980s with monthly performances, tours, plus extra holiday gigs.

I have the ability to sight-read sheet music to sing. I enjoy playing a variety of musical instruments to accompany myself, including ukulele, drums, guitar, piano, harmonica. Love to sing jazz and torch songs, and I accompany guitarist Firmin Oliveira's slack key songs on my ukulele.
