Grew up on Blues and Punk rock, eventually moved over to Alt-country in the early 2000's and joined my first full fledged country group. Played bass in a soul group in the 2010's and then moved to NYC for a few years. Studied several modern Jazz styles including Hard Bop and Avant-Garde with varying success. These various styles inevitably brought me to Jam-bands and I've been interested in anything improv from then on.
