Chords...check. Scales and arpeggios...check. Tasty licks...check. Now, let's start a band.
Desired end state is to be part of a band that can get together and practice a set list about once a week and get good enough to gig around town occasionally on the local music scene. Not looking to go on tour, but having a local following sounds like a lot of fun.
Ideal music type would be alternative, modern/classic rock, or Texas/Oklahoma country. Original stuff would be cool as well.
I've been playing off and on for about 6 years, but I am now in a position to get serious about it and put in several hours of solo practice per week in preparation for the once-a-week band practices.
