ABOUT

As a guitarist, I identify with U2’s The Edge description of being more a sideman guitar player; not the gunslinger, fastest player but more about supporting the singer and the rest of the band. I play a variety of genres & styles of acoustic & electric guitar, including folk, pop, blues, classic rock, jazz & jazz rock. I studied guitar under local musician Scott Lindenmuth for a number of years. He was very instrumental in introducing me to fusion, jazz and rock guitar styles.

While I have been playing guitar longer, I feel equally at home on the electric bass. I am adept on the fretted, fretless, four and five string bass. I am currently working to expand my bass style repertoire beyond rock, pop & blues to rhythm & blues, jazz, reggae and funk.

Whether needing guitar or bass for a special project or a longer term commitment, I would be interested in making it happen. I am always looking for musicians or a band to play with on a regular basis for fun or occasional gigs.
