I'm a jack of all trades in the old-school rock'n'roll and americana vein. I have played guitar for over 25 years, bass for 15, and drums for 10. Playing like it is still interesting is important to me. I play simply and effectively and my vibe is the same.

Tone and groove mean alot to me. I prefer more space and am not a shredder. I'm pretty much a stripped down Marc Ford on guitar, an Allen Woody/McCartney/G. Porter Jr on Bass, and just a solid basic groove drummer (always looking to lock in with a bassist...swampers, simon kirke). I also do a hell of a neil young impression.

I'm up for playing both originals and covers. I'd be for getting together and playing! If I were to choose my favorite setup, it would be a nimble and tuned-in 3 piece. And creating on-the-spot simple songs from out of the blue is one of my specialties.

gibson + cable + vintage amp on 5-7 (typically low wattage).

Danelectro bass w/flats + pick + cable + ampeg (I'm a lead bassist, not your normal nashville style)

Generic drums with a good woody snare and the best sounding old/mellow cymbals I can find.
