I am primarily a bass player, both electric and acoustic (upright & acoustic bass guitar), but I also play acoustic & electric 6 string guitar. I've got professional experience in many styles of music, from early rock (Carl Perkins, British Invasion) to Led Zeppelin, southern rock, U2, and more modern acts. I've played traditional country, country rock, bluegrass, blues, swing and folk, R&B, big band and small combo jazz, and I like working in duos.
I have extensive experience backing singer/songwriters. And I get a lot of work coming in to gigs cold with little or no rehearsal. Past bands include Al Millan and the Robots, Wild Eyed Notion, Thunderstrut, Code Blues, Richard H. Green, and Rancho Deluxe.
I am available for all kinds of work; local gigs, regional circuit or long distance touring. Comfortable playing live or recording. Have experience doing large festivals, live radio & TV (including Michael Nesmith's Videoranch 3D internet concert).
