I am currently 24,
I played trumpet from 6th grade until I graduated high school.
I picked up the bass guitar in middleschool, and learned a couple songs through tabs until graduation.
After graduation, I found my love for the bass guitar. I've been using tabs for years but I have started taking lessons from a music student at UH so that I can refine my playing and learn bass clef, and finally my scales.
I love to create melodic basslines that work well with the song, but I know that sometimes the best thing I can do is support the guitarist. I'm all in on writing music.
I like flatwoud strings but I can use roundworms if the sound calls for it.

Influences
PINK FLOYD is my greatest inspiration in music. They allow the listener to understand the music before the ride. They created new 'soundscapes' with some of their best music.
THE BEATLES would be my next biggest influence, as Paul McCartney was able to write incredible melodic basslines that gave the individual songs what they needed to both support AND enhance the music.
STEVIE WONDER had some of my favorite sould basslines that I've come to learn. I love Motown basslines but Stevie's always had the 'uppity' thumps sound that I look for when listening to music.
