Played in bands in Hi school and a few years after.. never stopped playing but just not in a serious band.. But recently was called to a classic rock band on bass.. bought some decent gear, new P Bass and a few amps.. been doing a few gigs. At 63 am having a blast! Looking to start or join a band that is willing to learn tunes properly and work on good sound.. not just how to piss off the neighbors, want to play tunes people want to hear, not just what the band wants to play cuz it's cool and nobody does it. good sound is most important... Really Rhythm and Bass... never really acquired major shreadability and mellowing out in my later years..
