Band to Join, Lead Guitar, Drums.ABOUT
My most recent band, The Small Dogs, has disbanded so I am looking for a new situation. I am married with children, so I do this mainly fun, not because I am trying to become a rock star. This gives complete artistic control; we can play what we want. If you have any interest is a situation like this, please contact me.
The material posted is from an older band, Irie Dingo. I will be posting a song or two from The Small Dogs as soon as we have something available.
I have played in various kinds of rock bands since the 1980s. Metal, punk funk, blues rock; with other influences like motown, reggae, disco. I am looking for a fairly casual situation, I just want to play, and I am not looking for weekly gigs etc. Ideally, I want to do originals and re-imagined covers (playing Born to be Wild as reggae, for instance) in Jam style or prog. But any style is cool as long as we have fun!
As I said, I was with The Small Dogs, so I am considering adding a new project and possibly two.

Influences
Tons of influences ranging from Zeppelin/Deep Purple to Talking Heads/Echo and the Bunnymen, Bob Marley, motown, Rage Against the Machine, Chili Peppers, King Crimson, Peter Gabriel. Plus a lot more; I am very open-minded as far as approach. I do like things to be a bit on the heavy side, though I am very flexible.

EQUIPMENT
I have a Keith Roscoe 5-string electric and a Spector 5 as well. I use a Mesa head with Carvin 2x10 cab on top of a single 15. I use a Boss M87 Compressor and device for tuning. I have a chorus I rarely use.

Mr Right
Mr Right Track number: 1 Year: 2000 Album: One Nation Under Dog Genre: Other
I wrote the music for this tune. The idea was to infuse an R'n'B feel into a rock song.

Feel Me
Feel Me Track number: 2 Year: 2000 Album: One Nation Under Dog Genre: Alternative
This one is a more straight ahead rocker, although I am slapping the strings with my fingers on the chorus. Again, I wrote the music, Notice the single measure of 2/4 time coming out of the chorus.
