Whats up everyone!!!! My name is Brok and I currently reside in Cleburne, Tx. That is about 30 miles south of Fort Worth. With that being said, I am looking for another guitarist, vocalist and bassist for a project called A Whole New Beast (see logo in images). I have another solo project called Eyes Among Us with two singles that released on all major platforms to include a guitar playthrough with just me on guitar on be. Additionally the sound that I am going for is a djent/progressive/metalcore sound at the moment. I have been playing guitar for about 25 years and bass for about 10 years. I have a home studio setup and use Reaper for my DAW. A Whole New Beast is just myself and a drummer that lives in Denton area. I primarily do all my own recording and program my own drums as well as do my own bass parts. I would like to change that and eventually play live shows with a full band if we can get the proper line-up. All levels are welcome to tryout, also I would like like for that person to provide samples or videos of them playing before we meet up so that we do not waste peoples time.

So I would like to put this out there that I am not trying to offend or come off as an egotistical prick LOL. I cannot elaborate enough on this that I only want committed, non-sketchy, like-minded, laid-back musicians. If you have these qualities then this is the project for you!!! Additionally, you will need to have your own transportation (I am not giving rides period!!) and professional gear. Also, if you do not communicate, might as well move along. I understand we have lives and trust me I have a wife and 2 little ones but I always make time to respond to text. Also, there will be a one month probationary period and if you are not making the cut then you are out of the band. We want to see if you mesh well with myself and the drummer. Furthermore, we have a practice space at Platinum Rehearsal Studios in Hurst, TX that is where we practice in which we have band rent at the moment for $100.00 a piece which equals out to $200.00 /month. How ever its a big enough room to fit people in to jam. Once we have a full-line up we plan to upgrade to a bigger room. We are not trying to get famous but at the same time we are in the writing process as well as doing live sessions at the rehearsal spot...The goal is to play gigs, record, and lastly have some fun. I would like to incorporate my drummer if we agree on meeting up so that he can see what the player is bringing to the table. Again this is not to discourage or come off as a dick but to merely weed out people that are on the same page. I am pretty laid back and give people the benefit of the doubt but I have also wasted a lot time in the past. PS: It would be a plus if you have a good computer and know how to run a DAW so that we can send ideas back and forth but not a requirement.
