Gigging classic rock cover band, looking for a guitar player. Preferably age 25-40. We gig a couple times a month, paid. It's a 2 guitar band, leads are normally shared so prefer someone who can handle a portion of them, but isn't greedy. Back up vocals/harmonies are a major plus!
This is an above average band. We're all good, serious players, looking for a dynamic, versatile guitar player with good sound, style, and ability for the range of songs we play. Preferably someone who is familiar with the repertoire, and will use sounds that fit. *NOT looking for metal style or guitar sound. More like Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Slash (GnR), but versatile enough to cover some different type stuff (Police, Boston, Journey, Skynyrd) and handle a little bit of shred such as Van Halen.
***We have a moderate/minimal band rehearsal schedule. We're looking for someone who does their homework and comes prepared to just iron out the tunes, so we can keep rehearsals to a minimum and still sound great.
