ABOUT

I played professionally around the country (and I Europe and Canada) for many years and had a successful single in 1975 called "Saga of CB Fever". I took a break from music to work in the TV/film business, retired and then began playing again I moved here from Burbank, CA several years ago where I left two wonderful musicians and our trio called "Down Home Time". We played many different genres of music including folk, country, bluegrass, comedy, originals, some 30's and 40's. We played songs we liked and felt should not be lost to the ages. We played several premier concert venues in Southern CA including The Coffee Gallery, Genghis Cohen and Butler's Coffee as well as many retirement facilities which we loved because it is like a mini concert every time. I miss the guys and the music we played, so I am looking to connect with some new "old" musicians in the Chino Valley/Prescott area to continue the experience. I play rhythm guitar, sing lead and harmony, do a fun show and have a few unique percussion surprises up my sleeve. I'm looking for a lead guitarist and/or a bass player and possibly mandolin who can also sing, or not. I would be happy to send some of the music we did as a group, either by computer or CD, to see if you feel this might be music you could connect to. Please give me a shout and perhaps we could get together and see what happens.
