SEEKING

Band to Join, Vocalist.

ABOUT

My last working duo played a lounge-y but soulful mix of pop, jazz, bossa nova, and R&B classics. I played guitar and laptop and sang backing vocals (and the occasional lead).

Now I would love to switch gears and play my Kala u-bass/sing with a compatible group of mature singers and musicians who enjoy rehearsing and growing musically together.

(The u-bass is a hollow body baritone ukulele bass with the closest sound to an acoustic upright you can find: warm, sweet tone with a pickup inside the body—exact pitches as a standard electric or upright bass.)

I really enjoy polishing songs ‘till they shine and hope to find like-minded folks. Occasional or even regular gigging would be wonderful but not my primary goal—I have no need or desire to enjoy anything but satisfaction and companionship from music.
