ABOUT

This is part one of an effort to piss away some of my youth in Utah's only Park City (or close by there). I have always wanted to play with a group doing songs I can perform... which happen to be all from one very old album (- and aged like a fine wine): The Lonesome Crowded West by Modest Mouse. A mixture of influences/ instruments would make this all the more fun... as would an agreement to do some serious group housing so I could afford to eat, but that's beside the point! Really, truly it is. (I hope that extra line creeped you out just now).

Influences

I *admire* the works of Nina Simone, Regina Spektor, Coco Rosie, Billy Strings, Philip Glass, Pixies, Jefferson Airplane and John Denver; across the board I can listen to anything but pop-country.

Members Of Band

Myself: simple keyboard, bass, acoustic/electric rhythm guitar, ukes and small mandolin-type instruments, small vocals.
-That's about all! Also, I'm not proficient, but should be once I get to practice a while again. This band would be semi-committed, but always improving and playing on the street, inside places...

EQUIPMENT

A CRATE acoustic amp, JBP acoustic, shitty/gnarly les paul rip-off electric, 12w Gorilla amp, Ludwig snare (drumset optional!) and one ok-quality microphone.
