Wow, I'm kind of hard to describe musically right now. I started out doing nothing but Led Zeppelin covers, but quickly started writing my own stuff taking bits from all of my biggest influences. I'm forming a vision for a concept album. I was considering going at it alone, but decided that'd be dumb. So far the sound is all over the place. I'm trying to get a core sound rounded out, but that will be difficult without creative direction, of which I have none :).

The Drive Home
The Drive Home Track number: 1 Year: 2010 Genre: Acoustic
Years ago I lived in East Tennessee along the Foothills of the Smokey Mountains. Every few weeks I would take a drive up to the Foothills Parkway or the Blue Ridge Parkway simply to relax and take in the sheer beauty. More often than not I would stay long enough that it was very late at night when I’d begin the drive home. For years I had imagined writing a song expressing how it felt to drive down the mountain with all the windows down and the sunroof open with the moon shining down on me. Well, I finally got around to it and this is part of the result. This is completely raw, just me a mic and my guitar, one take and literally zero editing/mastering. Playing on my new Yamaha acoustic with newish strings and the factory setup[1], capo’d on the 4th. Enjoy! [1] It’s not bad from the factory, only slightly high action, but the neck is almost perfect!
