ABOUT
What's up!! Highly excited, 29 yr old drummer looking to play Punk/Ska/Feel Good Music. I want to play stuff that's Melodic! LISTEN, it can be fast and groovy, but it has to be melodic! I haven't been playing on a kit all that long, but I've been beating the hell out of my lap for YEARS!
I've been asked before if I'm opposed to playing with females(stop laughing). Some of the coolest people I've jammed with have been women, so it's all good. If you're cool, you're all right in my book. I've been in bands before(as rhythm guitar)but they wanted to make CDs before they played a single gig! I HATE THIS!! I want to be on stage, infront of people, making them feel AWESOME! This is where the songs are made! If you don't believe me, read a f*ckin' music history book! Finally, I'm committed to practicing, but I want to have fun also. If it's not fun, then what's the point?

Influences
I get inspiration from ALL kinds of tunes! If it's got a good beat, I can dig it! Main influences though:
Operation Ivy, Rancid, NOFX, Reel Big Fish, '80's metal, 50's Rock N Roll, Rockabilly. I listen to A LOT of different stuff! I can't stand Techno! I'm a musician! I don't want to listen to a guy that sits at a computer and composes music! I want to listen to stuff that someone made using real instruments!
EQUIPMENT
I'm a believer in the 'bear essentials' when it comes to drums. Neil Pert is a WAY COOL drummer, but his kit is WAY TO BIG for my liking.
I live in an apartment, so I DON"T have a place to jam.
