Band to Join.ABOUT
I played Bass for the band CrossFire from March of 2002 until we played our last show in Oct. 2009. Took some time off, and in summer of 2010 decided to get back in it. Have been auditioning and have played a handful of shows with a few local bands, but still looking for a place to call home. I would like to find a "working" band, but wouldn't everyone? I would also like to find something within a 30min drive of my house in Olathe....but for the right situation (if you're a real working band), would be willing to travel further. Don't have to be top level professional, but not interested in playing for 6mos in the basement and only play out at the hole in the wall taverns once a month either. I prefer a band that has already realized their direction and has their song lists and venues planned out...even if you haven't played out yet. My experience is mostly in Hard Rock and Classic Rock Cover Bands and that is where my comfort zone is, but I have also played in Blues and Country bands. I can also sing....but prefer to focus on bass first, vocals second.
