ABOUT

Primary Goal: Play Good Music, Have FUN Doing It!!!

I am a business professional. But started with 80's rock scene and played in bands in early 90's. My band then opened for several large acts, Savatog, Quiet Riot, Fog Hat. When Grunge hit a lot of that went away and I Focused on career, family, and home life. Started playing live again 12 years ago or so. Been in 2 official bands in the last 10 years that played out festivals and bars in Grand Rapids area, one band fell apart to the plague times. The other began going in a different direction and we parted as friends as I could not commit to the new demands. Would like to find like minded musicians and professionals. With a casual band, plays out few time month, practice together once a week. I can not commit to every single weekend gigs at this time but few times a month gigs is easy. I do play and practice every single day and I am responsible to tell you what I can and can not commit to long term and short term. I say this because I am looking for a band that is as stated, playing to have fun. If you are doing this to make a living then your not doing it to have fun. I really enjoy playing with other people but totally understand when life comes knocking on your door. You can not practice this week? Ok, Cya next week. When a band becomes forced tensions brew. Playing music is what I do to relax.

Originals, can do them but it is not preferred as a focus. Really just want to get out and play. Originals are extremely low priority for me.

I know over 100 songs along the classic rock genre, but some newer and some in other Genre, depends on what was required, I do have an acoustasonic allowing me to do Acoustic rhythms but leads as well. Can do fingerstyle acoustic or picking. Favorite is just hard rock or blues.

EQUIPMENT

Kemper stage is primary amp for gigging. I have several more amps at home but don't gig with large amps anymore. Stage is blue tooth midi into tablet syncing songs on display and performance and amps profiles.

Too Many Guitars to mention. However most used are Fender Acoustasonic for on stage acoustic when needed and some form or another of a Les Paul. Sometimes PRS or Ibanez or even Suhr show up depending on moods.

I do have Behringer 32 rack system as my home PA, Full synced light kits, and shure in ear wireless and shure guitar wireless.

I am not a primary singer, but back up vocals can use any mic but primarily use Shure SM 58 for vocals through a BOSS VE 500.
