Big Hood ( short for Hoodie.E ) hails from the New Orleans area. He is a talented singer and writer who grew up in a home filled with music ranging from Gospel to Classic rock, with siblings, like his brother Black Energy, who is also an accomplished artist in the music business. Not only is Big Hood a singer but was also an accomplish Emcee who, at that time, was juggling two groups the ArtPharm and The Fellaz with both groups being highly successful. Beginning his career at the age of ten, the art or music came easily as he began not only writing for himself but other groups who sought him out due to his creativity and word play. As a youth who was performing with groups twice his age, Big Hood learn to hone his skills of writing and creativity from countless concerts in venues in and around the New Orleans areas and abroad. Always the one who was never afraid of an audience, Big Hood would insert himself into the musical atmosphere to enjoy the music along with the crowd. Music flows threw the veins of Big hood as he creates songs that will bring back the essence of what music use to stand for and what music use to mean.
