ABOUT
The Open Studio is a non-profit new business/artist incubation site that promotes creativity and healthy living. We provide numerous art and music programs open to the public.
As of October 2, 2018 we are starting an open mic co-sponsored with Mango Bistro on Dearborn Street in Englewood, which is the location for the open mic. The open mic will run every Tuesday, from 6:00pm - 8:30pm.
Musicians of any skill level, experience, or genre are welcome. This is a non-judgmental environment, to take the first step in front of an audience, to try out new material, and develop live stage experience.
Walk-ups are welcome, but musicians are encouraged to get on the players roster each week first by calling Bill at 941-500-3443 or emailing at backyardeventstheopenstudio.
