I've played lead guitar in several groups, so I'm pretty comfortable in country or blues bands. I've also played bass in bands (that had a better guitar player than I was) and also played dobro and mandolin in a couple bluegrass groups. I've been playing contemporary Christian music in church music ministry for the past 20 years (primarily bass).

EQUIPMENT
I had to sell all my big amplifiers during my move to Arizona, so I'm down to a small Hartke Kickback that I use for both bass and electric guitar. I have a Custom Tele from the 70's, a PRS hollowbody, a Les Paul copy (I use for mostly slide) and a small body Taylor acoustic. I also have a couple of short scale Fender basses. Oh yes, a lap top resonator, mandolin, and a couple of banjos (that I really don't know how to play).
