Hi, I'm a 34 yo guitarist. I live in Exeter, Been playing for almost 20 years. Moved out here for a job, and haven't had any luck with finding good musicians. I've played up and down the east coast and have lots of experience gigging and recording, had a brief run with a record deal, and worked for a small time in the music biz. I'm ego and drug free. I'm very into the collaborative and spirit of good band relationships. I'm a pretty good player and can fit into any situation. I'm not looking to write or lead a band, but add color, melody, and some complexity, ala Nels Cline in Wilco.
I can also sing background vocals and harmonies (I used to sing lead, but don't want to do that anymore).
I'm looking to join something artistic and mature. Not power chord driven, dark minor key sounds, cover bands, christian bands, or "heavy metal", but indie, inventive, and maybe a touch of experimental, balancing pop or rock and challenge. I'd like to be a part of something that can appeal to a variety of audiences.
