It appears that this forum is mostly for musicians with an extensive gigging history looking for other giggers. While I have some gigging experience, gigging is not my focus. My primary interest is in meeting musicians who are not necessarily "advanced" or "expert," but who enjoy the creative process in conjunction with others. Performing for others would be nice, but I would be content jamming, composing and recording.

I started playing guitar in my late teens, and later began playing bass and synths. Through the years, there have been several periods during which I would not play for months at a time. I'm now retired and interested in getting back into playing on a regular basis. I enjoy blues, rock, progressive, jazz, fusion, electronic, experimental music, and am open to other genres. My repertoire of covers is limited, but slowly growing. I occasionally play music with old friends when I travel back East. I am now interested in meeting local friends who to jam with. I'm interested in creating original material, as well as learning covers. I am open to eventual gigs, if things click. But again, that is not my prime focus.

Listen to my songs for an estimate of my instrument experience. Those songs are a few years old. I'm in the process of recording new ones. ... Note: On "What Now," until I fix the mix, please lower your volume. Thanks.
