ABOUT

My name is Billie Reyno (they/them), and I am the guitarist of a band I have been trying to form for years called Equal Star (name may change later on). Currently, I am looking for:

- Lead vocalist (ESPECIALLY); specifically, a vocalist whose voice falls into the alto/tenor register, and has a strong and powerful voice (ability to scream optional)
- Bassist
- Keyboardist/synth player
- Drummer

To give context to what we're looking for in terms of what I am looking for, our overall sound is basically an alt-metal/pop-punk fusion with elements of indie rock, post-punk, hip-hop, electronic music, psychedelia, and post-hardcore.

There are several bands/artists that influenced this eclectic sound, but here are just a few: My Chemical Romance, The Used, Green Day, Tool, Slipknot, Deftones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Twenty One Pilots, The 1975, Paramore, Black Sabbath, Death Grips, My Bloody Valentine, Smashing Pumpkins, Tame Impala, The Strokes, Bring Me the Horizon, Nirvana, The White Stripes, Queens of the Stone Age, Led Zeppelin

This may give a lot to deal with when it comes to general sound, but it'll all come together once the time comes.
