ABOUT

Professional opera, singer for over 40 years, recently, started singing, blues, jazz, country, and americana, along with Appalachian and spiritual genres.
Can’t read notational music and charts. Study music theory extensively at the University of Michigan performed professionally throughout Europe, including the Paris, Opera Theater, Lucerne opera in Switzerland, iStaatsoper in Munich Germany. Performed also here in United States at the Michigan Opera, Theater Detroit, did Louisville opera theater in Kentucky, upper South in Mississippi, and toured extensively with the “New York opera Harlem” in New York City, New York
Education includes: University of Michigan, Ian, Ann Arbor MI, emphasis in opera performance, music theory and Minor in languages of French, Italian and German. Speak fluently in all three.
Experience: taught at the Chopin Conservatory in Warsaw Poland for three years. Taught boys and coach an opera and various musical genres and voice types, including bands, ranging from blues, jazz rock, spiritual, opera, and acoustic.
Also, experience in coral, an orchestra conducting, direction and opera, and dedicated towards passing on my musical knowledge to Young people who have a genuine interest in the preservation of music of the 60s, including Motown, jazz, musicals, blues, acoustic, choral ensembles, opera, traditional Negro, spirituals, and gospel.
Extensive background in choral and orchestral conducting.
Also including master classes in groups in music up, all varieties, specializing in stage appearance, technique, opera, direction, and diction. Also teach singing as an ensemble and communicational skills and relaxation.

Other influences includes: traditional European and American ballet, modern dancing and traditional African cultural dance and drum.
Musical influences, are traditional, American folklore, such as songs of the Appalachia, Negro, spirituals and singers, such as Paul Robeson, opera singer it’s American and European such as Leotyne Price, Jessye Norman, Maria Calllas, Placido Domingo, Herman Prey, Fischer Diskau. and Simon Estes.
Modern day musical performers and composers are Bob Dylan, Janiis Joplin, Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, Paul Simon and Garfunkel, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Hendrix, Billy Holiday and Willie Nelson, Jonny Cash, BB King and Aretha Franklin. to name a few.
Musical genres influences are: Opera, And composers such as Wagner, Verdi, Puccini , Mozart, Handel, Mahler and Beethoven also modern day artists and writers includes, Mahalia Jackson, Tina Turner, Hoegie Carmichaela d George Gershwin.
