I am a versatile male jazz and standards singer, with ability to bend into the blues, and even R&B and pop. Excellent range, great reader, understand and read whole band charts. Have played guitar and trombone in recording sessions, but have chosen to concentrate on vocals recently. Getting a lot of attention from outstanding vocalists across the globe on reverbnation site: ://reverbnation/bixmixmusic ....and a offers to collaborate. I've recently worked with Aleck Rand and his quintet, plus other collaborators. In progress with award-winning songwriters on demos of their songs.
Pride myself on letting the song sing itself, instead of me imposing my chosen style upon every number. Want to collaborate in studio, or out, gigging possible in Arizona and California, possibly Oregon and Washington. My wife is my producer, mixer and best critic.

All the great jazz singers, including lesser knowns. Usually tagged "unique", "ultra smooth" and "subtly inventive", with comparisons to Jack Jones, Mel Torme, Michael Buble, Tony B, Harry Connick Jr, early Sinatra, Steve Lawrence, Nat King Cole, and a host of others. I began life by listening and learning Southern Gospel, including all the quartets, the black spiritual singers like Mahalia Jackson, then on into old country, from Hank Williams to Jim Reeves, and into R&B, soul, with Aretha, Al Jarreau and Donny Hathaway, into rock, folk, James Taylor, Bread, and then into sophisticated a capella like the Hi-Los, Singers Unlimited, Take Six etc. I love it all, and hope to continue being influenced by new trends.
