Influences
As a Filipino, my musical influes have been mostly around the old musical standards of the 1930-1950's, when Latin musical styles such as Cha Cha, Mambo, Rumba, Tango, and old style ballroom dancing was prevalent among the Filipinos who immigrated to the US in the 1920's. I've always like soft Latin music styles, and the driving beat of the Rumba in many dances. For American Style musical influences, I like the greats like BB King, Slow Blues, some country music, and many of the big name Bands of the 1970-1990's, such as Chicago, El Chicano, Santana, Malo, and Tower of Power
