I have written a number of original Gospel Songs that I would like to work up and perform in churches or various other venues (anyone up for some prison gigs?). I can play the guitar and piano, neither one great, so I hope to find some interested parties with skills and a desire for Christian ministry to join with me in service of the King. Currently working with a drummer. We need the rest of the pieces. I'm a decent vocalist when in my range and fairly good at harmony. May have brother singing with excellent and unique voice. Hopefully people that are available to practice some evening during the week and available on weekends. Looking for someone close to the Escalon/Oakdale/Riverbank CA area. Versatility greatly appreciated. If not interested in band, I would enjoy writing originals for others. I've included some samples. One with my own voice, all three songs I wrote. They do not necessarily reflect what I like to listen to (and would like to sound like) which would probably be a little more raw, with a lot of nice lead guitar, (although my voice does not lend it self to roughness). I also like a blue grass sound, so banjos and violins would be welcome. A little Electric Light Orchestra feel is great too, so basically any instrumentalist would be welcome. I would like to be able to perform several genres as subcategories of Christian/Gospel with a Christ/ministry centered focus.
