David Blampied: professional drummer/percussionist seeking only professional gigs at a paying level. Performing drums/percussion for over 35 years attended MIT in California and have studied with Joe Morello. Experience recording, and producing and am well educated with Pro Tools software. Recorded with original projects as a session musician, as well as live performances.David can read and compose music, as well as being a multi-instrumentalist including Guitar, Mandolin, steel guitar, bass, and piano; although my strongest talent is in Drums and Percussion.Experience in writing and arranging. Touring experience. Also I am published, I have done soundtracks for TV, film and radio ect. My latest can be heard on the new Chevy Volt commercial.

I have way too much equipment to inventory for this, 4+ drum sets, Ludwig, Spaun, Slingerland, Tama on and on, in addition to symphonic gongs and tympani’s.

Plus a full PA, recording equipment, portable and pro tools recording studio. Several sets of mics, ranging from Numan, Sure, Cad, Audio Tech….so on.

Sabian, Zidjian, Paiste.

Not to mention steel guitar, many acoustic guitars, and electric guitars, ukulele, mandolins….on and on. To much I even play the rape whistle...

Swan Song flies again!
After a year; Swan Song returns to New York for one show only at the Keltic House in Fishkill New York. This is a must see for all Led Zeppelin fans! Swan Song covers material from the entire Zeppelin catalog, from Led Zeppelin One to Coda. What separates Swan Song... from other Zeppelin tribute acts is the attention to detail and stellar musicianship of this spectacular group of musicians.

The last show Swan Song performed in New York was to a sold out show at the Lycian Theater in Sugar Loaf with a three and a half hour show, from “The Song Remains the Same” to the soulful “Since I’ve Been Loving You”, and the iconic live version of “Dazed and Confused”, and the classic “Whole Lotta Love”; this show promises to pull out some surprise performances: “deep cut” songs very rarely heard on the radio, and songs Zeppelin themselves never or rarely performed live!

The Keltic House is an intimate setting, nestled in the town of Fishkill on Main Street, where the room sound is great and there is no bad seat in the house! Seating capacity in the Keltic House is only around 200, so be sure to reserve your spot in advanced before this show sells out!
