Blind Lemon Peel is the New Orleans blues/funk show band the Orange Country Blues Society calls "the hottest band on the LA blues scene." This summer they appeared at the Hayward Blues Festival in Oakland, on the Main Stage at the New Blues Festival in Long Beach, Venice Beach Music Festival, Balboa Strawberry Festival, Marina del Rey Concert Series and headlined the Kern County Fair. No less an authority than B. Noel Barr, President of the Long Beach Blues Society, calls them "an insanely great show for audiences that crave the real deal blues.
