ABOUT

STYLE:
- Full rock-band + gospel-choir-style vocals (from 7 female backup singers)
- Bluesy harmonica, jazzy guitar licks, roots sounds, stomping & hollering
- Songs are: High-energy, upbeat, often with audience participation
- Mostly play originals, but also choice covers that highlight the vocal abilities of the female vocalists (Hallelujah, Black Horse and the Cherry Tree, The Letter, Romeo & Juliet)
- Lead vocals are shared between Phil & female choir members

TIME COMMITMENT:
- Weekly Rehearsal (every Wed 7pm-9pm, near Times Square)
- One or Two Gigs each Month (usually on weekend night in NY area)
- Up to 4 times a year: A Weekend Day-Trip for out-of-town show (Philly, Boston, Upstate NY)

FINANCIAL DETAILS:
- The band shares EQUALLY in all proceeds earned from shows
- Beyond that, there is NO additional hourly rate paid to the instrumentalists
- (We're looking for true BAND-MATES, not HIRED GUNS)
- The bandleader pays all band-related expenses (rehearsal space rental, promotions, travel expenses, etc.)
- For the future, we're targeting high-paid bookings (eg. college circuit) as means of income
