A Strange Kind of Sunshine is a Southern Rock and blues band currently gigging in the western New York and Northern Pennsylvania region. We like to practice to stay tight and play at least a few times a week. We are currently seeking a new bass player, and if able to sing harmonies and backing vocals, that would be a plus.

The members of the band are influenced by a very wide range of music from contemporary metal, to acoustic, and at least 60 years of various rock music, but the focus of the band is southern rock and blues (SRV, Skynyrd, Allman Bros., Clapton, etc.)
